Children's dance

We are excited to introduce our lovingly designed children's dance program, specifically developed for young children aged three to five years. In our children's dance program, we playfully lay the foundation for future ballet lessons and open the doors to the enchanting world of ballet for the little ones.

Our young dancers explore the world of ballet in a magical way by diving into fairy-tale stories. Within our children's dance, they learn not only the basic movements of ballet but also how to use and control their bodies effectively. Another key aspect of our children's dance is learning the rules and dancing together in a group.

Ballet school

At our Ballet School in Frankfurt, Ballet School in Kronberg, and Ballet School in Bad Homburg, we teach the Russian ballet style based on the Agrippina Vaganova method. Our program is designed for children who attend classes regularly but only once or twice a week. This simplified version of the ballet program allows children aged 6 to 14 to join the classes at any time and progress at their own pace without risking their health.

In our Ballet Schools in Frankfurt, Kronberg, and Bad Homburg, classes are organized according to age groups. Within each age group, children are further divided into beginner and intermediate levels. For example, children aged three to seven are in Ballet Class 1, children aged eight to nine are in Ballet Class 2, and children aged ten to thirteen are in Ballet Class 3. In Ballet Class 3, pointe work may also be introduced, depending on the development of the foot muscles. Whether pointe work is appropriate in the recreational classes is always individually discussed with the teacher.

Academy

At our Ballet Academy in Frankfurt, Bad Homburg, and Kronberg, we offer comprehensive professional training for children from the age of 6 until they reach stage readiness. We teach according to the renowned Russian system of Agrippina Vaganova. Admission to our Ballet Academy is granted exclusively after successfully passing a preliminary examination, which is held twice a year. Outside these periods, exams or trial lessons in the academy classes can only be arranged upon request.

Our academy classes are specifically designed to intensively prepare children for professional training. The goal is to equip our students to train at prestigious academies and universities worldwide or to complete a full training program with us to become a stage dancer or ballet pedagogue. The professional training at our Ballet Academy includes a variety of dance styles to create versatile and well-trained dancers who meet the high standards of contemporary dance.

Balletcompany

To promote the art of ballet, we see it as our mission not only to train dancers but also to showcase their skills on stage. After all, where else does ballet belong but on stage? Our goal is to make each ballet performance the pinnacle of our dancers' artistic development.

Even our youngest dancers have the opportunity to join the company and learn various ballets, which are regularly presented in ballet performances. These ballet performances take place on professional stages and offer valuable experience to dancers from around the world. Especially for those aspiring to a professional ballet career, these ballet performances are an important opportunity to prepare for the future and gain extensive stage experience.
